Yesterday I took the afternoon off and paid a visit to Art Rio 2013, in Pier Maua, in Rio de Janeiro’s port area.
This photo I took with my cell phone while waiting to buy the ticket
Art Rio is a an international fair of contemporary art held in Rio always in the month of september. They are on their third edition, and it is the second time I have the opportunity to enjoy this great art event.
It was a nice way of getting inspired not only by the works of art but also by the view from Pier Maua.
Art Rio 2013!
This was one of the three restaurants installed in Pier Maua for the fair
The exhibitions were set up in 4 pavilions.
One of the exits of one of the pavilions.
Clothes as part of a work of art!
Golf carts are available to drive visitors between pavilions.
Where do I go next?
Guanabara Bay and Rio-Niterói Bridge view

Pier Maua Cranes
If you get tired of walking from one pavilion to another you can relax a little in those beach chairs
Another beautiful view of the port area
ArtRio will be held until September 8, at Pier Mauá.
