On this rainy sunday in Rio de Janeiro, nothing better than spending the afternoon watching soccer games on TV with my guys (husband and son) and eating those special treats I brought from my last week New York quick escape.
My new yorker brother-in-law (my sister‘s husband) gave them to me thinking of his nephew, my son, but I have to admit that I liked it more than my own son. I loved those little white candies and its charming box in the shape of an apple was so charming.
They were regular chocolate M&M’s but as they were white colored my son found them a little strange at the first time. Usually children don’t like when things looks different from what they are used to, specially when talking about food.
But after taking the first bite he knew they were the old and delicious M&M’s he is used to and ended up eating a lot of them. I have to confess that I ate more than I should too!! But it is ok, tomorrow is monday and it is the official day to start a new diet!!!

I worked with a company that made the same candy made with their logo, of course they don’t melt in your hands.
Interesting… those M&M’s were made to be eaten in cold weathers… Do you believe that I had to put them on the fridge, because they were all melting down on this hot weather of Rio de Janeiro. : )
Y0u forget where I live. Everything is stored in a refrigerator or a freezer.
